I love it when customers send in photos, particularly when unprompted. And that happened this week, when Augusta-based Jennifer shared this Little George mural… This mural is a biggie; more than fifteen feet wide and eight feet tall! Karen had to add a buzzing bee (not normally present on this design) and extra flowers to fill [...] Had to share the news; Charlie wall art is now in stock! We’ve taken delivery of our first run and they look amazing. Of course I would say that but believe me, they do. By the way, this is also available as a custom wall mural. And when I say custom, I mean it; we can [...] I’m about to contradict myself. I’m always banging-on about our stuff being ‘non-fluffy’, which I felt perfectly summed-up our non-conformist design philosophy. Until now. We’re about to start selling perhaps the fluffiest thing on the planet! Okay, perhaps I’m exaggerating a little but I’m sure you get the sentiment…fluffiness. The point is, we’ve introduced a new ‘cuddle [...] Due to our non-fluffy, grown-up design style, we get many requests to produce stuff for parents too. So we’ve made a slightly nervous (yet much-considered) leap… …from the nursery into the kitchen…well kitchen/diner to be exact. So, much excitement here, as we bring you an exclusive peek at this complete departure… …including products across two designs – Charlie and George [...] If you’ve been watching closely, you’ll know we’ve been shooting our new range, Charlie. So, in no particular order, just thought I’d share these product ‘cut-outs’… bib & burp set… hooded towel… changing mat… blanket… quilt… and sleepsack… We think they look great…and even better ‘in the flesh’! We’ve also taken some cool lifestyle shots, with everything appearing soon on our re-vamped [...] There’s an unintentional theme developing. This time though, the chocolate talk ain’t literal. Just a short announcement to say our chocolate George wallpaper is back… We pulled it after some production issues then got MASSES of requests to restock it. Thanks to that it’s back, better than ever…with an uber-practical wipe-clean surface! It’s available now on pre-order [...] It’s been ages since I brought you a ‘create your own‘ post. Though unplanned, I just had to share this wall art we (or specifically Karen) created for our product shots. Step 1: buy a canvas (this one’s 36 x 48″) from a craft supplies store. You could make your own but it’s damn fiddly and [...] Egg isn’t my favourite design. I’m more of a Billie or Charlie fan. When we launched Egg though, I really loved it. I’m so fickle. Point of saying this? I’m back in love… …and it’s all thanks to these new product shots. I just think the contrast between the vibrant teal Egg pattern and the crisp [...] Not an ‘urban-speak’ intro to our new abode. This is far more literal. You may recall us selling our ex-photography Leander bed. Well here’s its (rather fetching) replacement… You’ll see plenty more of this Oeuf Sparrow crib, as we take new product/lifestyle shots over the coming weeks. Another new addition is this adorable Eames Rocker… We LOVE chairs, [...] Last week, PANTONE 15-5519 Turquoise was declared ‘color of the year for 2010′. This completely passed me by, until I spotted this post on Stroller Traffic… They’d asked hostess with the mostess founder Jennifer Sbranti to “reveal some of the coolest turquoise things she’s discovered for babies” and we made the list… Huge thanks go to Jennifer for picking [...] |
