A short post as a thank you to some unsung heroes of the Olli & Lime operation… Print By Design are a local firm who’ve been with us from the start, initially printing our wall murals and even helping out with some early product shots. These days they print all our wall art, plus our business stationery, product [...] We’re just about to introduce some new products for fall/winter 09, amongst them bumpers for our George, Billie and (later) Egg ranges. As per normal, we had a sample produced before moving into full production. Stick with me, here’s where it gets kind of interesting. Instead of using our standard George fabric, our suppliers used the ‘white [...] We’ve just taken delivery of our latest production run – including some brand new products – and all I can say is WOW! Our Manchester-based CMT (that’s cut, make and trim to you and me!) provider has done a fantastic job! We’re very lucky to have such a great team supporting us and the results speak for themselves. Thanks [...] Some more pics from Karen’s trip to our main fabric printer, this time showing our Egg design in pumpkin and teal colourways… Karen has become semi-obsessed with the fascinating print process and had to point out an anomaly to me from the image below… Eagle-eyed readers will notice some colour gaps in the Egg design. This was shot mid-job, before [...] Here’s a peak inside our new fabric printers. Not the greatest quality shot admittedly (via mobile) but you get the idea… Pictured is a 50m+ stretch of fabric in our Billie design.
