I haven’t written a cat-related post for a while – and don’t panic, not my intention to make a habit of it – but I couldn’t resist this one, featuring our ultra-photogenic cat, Bert… He’s taken to using my MacBook, when hooked up to my monitor, as a heated cat cushion. He is an odd little [...] I know some don’t appreciate my cat posts but at the risk of alienating a few (and hopefully amusing a few more) I had to share this picture, featuring our cat, Egg… Such a girl; adjusting her position to make the most of the remaining sun cover! The latest in my “cat…” series, features all three of our little monkeys, with Egg and Bert posing for the camera as usual, while Josh sits atop our car in the background… He loves to sit there, jumping straight up once I’ve parked the car, in an attempt to extract the maximum amount of heat from [...] I sometimes wonder who rules this house. Then I remember, it’s the cats… I love that they stay within their own quadrants. They seem to respect our neatness. I did suggest to Karen that we need another cat to create visual balance though What’s the deal with cats and boxes? Why are they uncontrollably drawn to them? Whenever we take a delivery, there they are. Bert (foreground) is the main culprit. Sure enough (and despite the innocent gaze) he was box-bound shortly after this A humorous interlude, at least for the cat-lovers amongst you. It seems that wherever I choose to work, our cat Bert decides to sit. The strange thing is, he seems to appear from nowhere, on a pile of books or papers, on my laptop, on my lap even… I’m usually so immersed in work that I don’t [...] No, not me…or Karen! It’s Josh, one of our three distinctly ‘different’ cats. Josh doesn’t do conventional. Case in point, here he is drinking direct from the tap! Josh likes to play it his way. He does what he wants, when he wants. If he’s in the mood for some fuss though, his affection rivals either [...] This was the scene that greeted me this morning; snow everywhere! The cats, including Bert (pictured) were clearly making no plans to leave the house… Karen is also happily (for her) housebound today. So, only me that had to brave the elements this morning and make another ‘interesting’ car journey! Beautiful though it is, I really can’t wait for the onset [...] Bit random, but I had to share a pic from a while back that I just uploaded. It’s rare to capture our three cats in one shot, but here are (L-R) Bert, Josh and Egg, arranged with military precision… The picture tells its own tail…I mean tale, about their relationship.
