I’m an HGTV addict. Move-in-ready, four bed, three bath, granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances, for $150,000. No matter how many times I hear that, I have to watch.
While the houses are rarely up our street, in every sense, it’s pretty engaging TV. There’s a link to O&L, I promise; we just made a fleeting appearance on the HGTV Canada site.

Mom Wendy chose “white and aqua with an accent of orange” (that’s Billie) for her son’s nursery, submitted to HGTV’s Kids’ Rooms Month. Big thanks to Kippo Kids for spotting!
“I designed the room before he was born, not knowing if he would be a ‘he’ or a ‘she’. I wanted a gender neutral, playful colour scheme that would last longer than his onesies!”

“Special touches include: the antique family heirloom rocker, with new upholstered cushions, the matching little rocker (which was mine as a child), a versatile clip mobile above his change table, that acts as an evolving art gallery & my custom artwork.”
“I love his room because it is a bright & playful space filled with personal touches but mostly because he loves it too!” Check out the full post, and the other rooms, here

I like the way the aqua and orange complement each other!
The room looks lovely.
Yeah I really like the color mix too. Not a typical combination but she’s made it work beautifully. Kudos to Wendy
