They occasionally slip-in an icon with a [...] As part of our ongoing fascination with all things mid-century modern, we recently paid a visit to Reside, specialists in designer furniture, lighting and other objects of the period. We looked around this newly-opened location, in Boston’s South End. They also run a long-established store from Cambridge, and the website inventory is pretty impressive… The pieces aren’t cheap, [...] Huge collective sigh of relief at Olli & Lime. Thanks to us finally achieving our ambition (one that regular readers will be acutely aware of) of officially relocating O&L to the US. I mentioned we were in the UK managing production of our new design. True, but we also visited the US Embassy (below) for VISA [...] We’re back in the UK for another few days, having popped over to check on production of our new design. When we arrived, a friend told us some unexpected, and pretty sad news. Habitat has gone into administration. This won’t be news at all to UK readers, while most in the US will be thinking ‘who the [...] When a customer sends pictures of their nursery, it’s always a pleasant and welcome surprise. The latest email submission came with another surprise, of the canine variety. Mom-to-be Stacey – from St Louis, MO – isn’t due ’til September, so her three-year-old dog, Tallulah, acted as a very capable (not to mention cute) stand-in for these [...] Sorry for the brief hiatus; we’re in the UK currently, sorting some business issues. This includes production of our new – as yet unnamed – design, due for launch in September. We always get excited about our new designs, but this one more than most. Main reason being, this new design is…wait for it…PINK! Yep, a [...] Just a quick post to say happy Independence Day! It’s our first 4th of July on this side of the pond so we’re pretty excited.
