Another post in our inspiration series now, this time featuring our George design which, with its fresh and green feel, is particularly popular during spring and summer months… Again, we’ve picked out some Benjamin Moore paint colors to complement the range… A: AF-180: wenge (affinity color collection) It’s a while since I posted a retail update here. In the meantime, we’ve partnered several stores across North America, including these four new additions, all located in Canada. Introducing Saf & Benjamin, in (fabulous) Yaletown, Vancouver, which we visited last year, and Rockpretty Baby, an online store, who are stocking George and Billie designs. We’ve also added Baby on [...] We’re often asked to recommend paint colors that match or complement our designs. So, we decided to select some Benjamin Moore paints, to create a palette for each range. First-up is Billie; arguably our boldest, most striking design. Easter, we thought, would be a banker both ways, but it seems it’s not as big a deal here as it is in the UK. Apparently, some businesses close on Good Friday, most on Easter Sunday but none on the Monday. We’re celebrating anyway, with a [...] The Boston Marathon ‘happened’ yesterday. And we were right in the thick of it. No, we didn’t attempt anything silly, like running, just that the route goes straight past our office. Which was very convenient. We tracked the runners’ progress online, then nipped outside to see the leading wheelchair, women and men runners up close. Speaking [...] As you may know, we’re in the US for a little while, setting up a Boston office for Olli & Lime LLC, which we hope (fingers crossed) will be up and running in a couple of months. To meet VISA requirements, we must first get the business to the stage where it’s 100% ready to trade. [...] Okay, so Patriots’ Day isn’t until Monday but, as it’s our first in the US (we’re busily setting up our new Boston office), thought we’d celebrate, with an extended-weekend special offer. Gotta love that “comedy facial expression” as Di calls it! Ryland, now 15 months, proudly occupies his super-cool nursery, thanks to his even prouder graphic designer [...] Predictably, blog posts have been a bit scarce just recently. This is because we’ve been frantically preparing to set up a new office in Boston. And now, finally, the time has come. Boxes packed. Flights booked. Everything arranged. No going back now.
