Our second day in the US turned out to be a very long one. We’d arranged to meet our new distribution partner in Stamford, CT, before visiting their office in New York State.
Unfortunately, we had to travel three hours by train either side! Don’t feel bad though; this was punctuated by a free lunch at – what can only be described as – a castle…
I didn’t take this shot (impolite to start snapping!) so it doesn’t do justice to the sunshine or the Long Island Sound view. Great food. Beautiful setting. Good times.
Actually, the journey was enjoyable too, hugging the East Coast from Boston to the tip of Connecticut. Trackside views aren’t typically great but it was very interesting.
Impressively (to us) we passed through four states; Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York! Best of all, our meeting went well and we’re all set!
