I’ve mentioned before that we live in Cheltenham, a Cotswold Spa town, famous for its Regency architecture, amongst a few other things, one of which being horse racing.

Specifically the National Hunt, pinnacle, theĀ Cheltenham Gold Cup…

…when seemingly millions of Irish race-goers descend upon Cheltenham, armed with pots of cash, a copy of the Racing Post and a selection of ‘can’t fail to win’ tips!
This creates a fantastic atmosphere, and a huge economic boost. A great time to live here…until you want to drive somewhere. Oh, almost forgot…happy St Patrick’s Day!
