We thought it’d be fun to share our (or specifically Karen’s) design inspiration for each O&L range. We’ve taken delivery of our first run and they look amazing. Of course I would say that but believe me, they do. By the way, this is also available as a custom wall mural. And when I say custom, I mean it; we can [...] You’ve probably noticed that our stuff is more than a little retro. A fact also noted by the lovely peeps at Retro To Go; the super-cool home of “all things hip and retro”. They first took note of us back in December of 2008, when they posted about our (sadly now deceased) Egg orange bedding. Oh, how [...] The latest in my “cat…” series, features all three of our little monkeys, with Egg and Bert posing for the camera as usual, while Josh sits atop our car in the background… He loves to sit there, jumping straight up once I’ve parked the car, in an attempt to extract the maximum amount of heat from [...] We’ve been right here, beavering away as usual. Our products have been far more adventurous though, popping-up all over the place. Here’s a few UK-based mentions… Bowie at Print & Pattern ran a wonderful post, showcasing our new Kitchen range… Natalie at Nest Goodies also gave our new kitchen stuff a mention on her great blog… And UK trends mag [...] Karen’s current obsession is texture. Wood, metal, stone, whatever, on walls, floors, surfaces; everything gets a look-in. And I must agree, the effects can be amazing. Incidentally, these homes are all in the Vancouver and Whistler areas. Why? Well, during the recent Winter Olympics, we couldn’t resist checking out local property. Not sure we can afford to [...] I’ve mentioned before that we live in Cheltenham, a Cotswold Spa town, famous for its Regency architecture, amongst a few other things, one of which being horse racing. Specifically National Hunt, staging the season’s pinnacle, the Cheltenham Gold Cup… As such, seemingly millions of Irish race-goers descend upon Cheltenham, equipped with pots of cash, a copy of the Racing [...] What seems like an age ago – and pretty much is – we were asked to appear in Print & Pattern, a book by Bowie Style, also author of the identically named blog. Of course, we happily agreed. Almost two years later and it’s been published. A pretty thick book, which must have taken masses of [...] That’s what I say. You see, I planned to officially launch our new site here and thought I had days to spare. Then (super efficient) Karen went and finished it early. I’ve been out all day and haven’t had time to post…until now. Anyway, here’s an official – albeit slightly rushed – announcement. Behold, our new [...] I sometimes wonder who rules this house. Then I remember, it’s the cats… I love that they stay within their own quadrants. They seem to respect our neatness. I did suggest to Karen that we need another cat to create visual balance though |
