There’s an unintentional theme developing. This time though, the chocolate talk ain’t literal. Just a short announcement to say our chocolate George wallpaper is back… We pulled it after some production issues then got MASSES of requests to restock it. Thanks to that it’s back, better than ever…with an uber-practical wipe-clean surface! It’s available now on pre-order [...] Sorry for the brief interlude. We’ve got masses going on and are inches away from everything clicking into place. Until it does though, posting is likely to be rather erratic. Just quickly, I wanted to share this rare (for us) culinary insight. Karen’s been threatening to make chocolate tiffin for ages…and this weekend made three batches! Why three? [...] Meet the latest addition to our retailer list; Baby&Co, based in Budapest, Hungary. They’ll be stocking pretty much everything in our George, Billie and Egg ranges. I can’t tell you much about them due to limited English site content, coupled with my woefully inadequate Hungarian! Their online shop Bababoo looks delicious though… …plus I have figured out they’re [...] It’s been ages since I brought you a ‘create your own’ post. Though unplanned, I just had to share this wall art we (or specifically Karen) created for our product shots. Step 1: buy a canvas (this one’s 36 x 48″) from a craft supplies store. You could make your own but it’s damn fiddly and [...] Egg isn’t my favourite design. I’m more of a Billie or Charlie fan. When we launched Egg though, I really loved it. I’m so fickle. Point of saying this? I’m back in love… …and it’s all thanks to these new product shots. I just think the contrast between the vibrant teal Egg pattern and the crisp [...] Not an ‘urban-speak’ intro to our new abode. This is far more literal. You may recall us selling our ex-photography Leander bed. Well here’s its (rather fetching) replacement… You’ll see plenty more of this Oeuf Sparrow crib, as we take new product/lifestyle shots over the coming weeks. Another new addition is this adorable Eames Rocker… We LOVE chairs, [...] Another piece of coverage for us, this time in one of the UK’s biggest parenting titles, Practical Parenting. They featured our Little George print in a shopping round-up… We’ve had some sales and enquiries as a result so thanks to P.P. for the mention!
Without wishing to over-cook it, this is probably the most exciting news I’ve ever posted here, with potentially huge business implications. Intrigued? You should be… Last year we applied for a British Airways Business Opportunity Grant, with a prize including 12 business-class flights and 5 cargo shipments, across the BA network. The grant is for small to medium-sized [...] Not strictly Olli & Lime coverage, but Beautiful Kitchens magazine just featured our kitchen; partly because it’s pretty unusual, and partly because we did it so cheaply! The kitchen looks extremely modest alongside others in the mag, in every sense; from sheer scale to finish and function. Not to mention – as naturally follows – cost! Five minutes [...] A nice little media mention worth sharing. This time in the ‘babyspace’ section of Pregnancy & Newborn‘s latest issue, which has just hit news stands across the US… Okay, so we’re not exactly dominating the page – that’s our George wallpaper in milk chocolate top-left – but it’s all good exposure and VERY welcome.
