goodbye black friday

A while ago, I’d have assumed Black Friday was a particularly bad day on Wall Street. Now though, I realise it’s one of the most important days in the US retail calendar.

Black Friday (yesterday) follows Thanksgiving and is regarded as the busiest shopping day of the year in the States…though this probably isn’t the case.

True to form, this wasn’t the case for us either. While it may be a busy day in the stores, the online sales rush takes a couple more days to materialise. Apparently…

Since 2005 Cyber Monday has entered the arena. What may conjure up visions of a techie-filled virtual networking event, is actually THE busiest online shopping day.

Anyone still in the dark? Here are the wiki entries for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Oh, if you want to play your part, check out our 30% off Thanksgiving sale :-)
