pumpkin town

Just a quick post following yesterday’s Halloween celebrations, which were a bit of an eye-opener for us Brits. We just don’t celebrate the occasion like they do in the US.

From doorways to shop windows, everywhere you look is a pumpkin or ghoulish display! The evening was enjoyed by kids and adults alike…really nice to see  :-)

  • Halloween is only the best holiday around! We do it up big around these parts. Danger went out as a Monkey. The neighbourhood I live in is seriously overpopulated by you brits (that sounds rude but I meant it in a good way) and last night while Trick or Treating I noticed that the kids who’s parents were dressed up were almost always from the UK (their crazy accents gave it away) so I have vowed to dress up something fierce next year to represent for the home team if you know what I mean!

You’re more than welcome to come for a visit and join me!

  • Hi Nikki, thanks for stopping by. Yeah Halloween certainly seems like a big deal…and Danger as a monkey sounds very cute! Would love to pay you a visit some time by the way :-)
