We’re just about to introduce some new products for fall/winter 09, amongst them bumpers for our George, Billie and (later) Egg ranges.
As per normal, we had a sample produced before moving into full production. Stick with me, here’s where it gets kind of interesting.
Instead of using our standard George fabric, our suppliers used the ‘white on lime’ fabric as pictured below…
Although this wasn’t to plan, it allowed us to test the production quality – which is superb – and get a feel for the finished bumpers.
The upshot is, this is a complete one-off…or a ‘two-off’ if you live in the UK, as we only use one per crib, whereas our American friends prefer two.
Anyhow, we like it so much we may produce more. For now though the design’s a true original…and available in our sale for the knockdown price of £35/$58
