We’ve gone Fairtrade at Olli & Lime! We’re incredibly impressed with our partners at Tomato Source who’ve managed to find a manufacturer to produce our entire soft furnishings range on 100% organic cotton in a certified Fairtrade factory.
We originally attempted a first for the UK by printing our children’s soft furnishings on an 80/20% bamboo cotton mix. Unfortunately, due to cost and technical constraints, this hasn’t been possible. We do hope to overcome these issues though and introduce a bamboo-based fabric later in the year.
In the meantime, we’re more than happy to offer our customers 100% organic cotton furnishings, produced with an ethical and environmental Fairtrade guarantee. The range should be available to order from April and we’ll provide a sneak preview of the new spring designs very soon.
